Giving Tuesday, an emergent response to COVID 19, is a global day of action: calling on us to tap into the power of human connection and to strengthen communities at the grassroots level - two values closely aligned with our mission here at YYC Tech Gives.
We have seen the power of technology and the roll it plays today, more than ever, in bringing us all together. There are many local tech companies right here in Calgary that tap into a great talent pool and have grown their team through local support.
YYC Tech Gives grew out of our desire to bring these local tech companies together and to support our local community by partnering to give back to non profit organizations that do so much here - organizations like the Calgary Food Bank.
