Zedi employees are well on their way to raising thousands of dollars for the devastating fires in Fort McMurray. "The company is going to match employee donations" indicates Director, General Services, Kathy Heffernan.
Some of the employees have personal acquaintances, family or friends in the area and there was definitely an immediate outpouring of support by the team. By encouraging monetary donations through the Red Cross, the company is able to nurture the passion and enthusiasm of employee donations and also take advantage of the two government matching programs.
With the campaign still running for a few weeks and already at a total of over $3850 raised by employees alone, Zedi is on target to make a huge impact on the overall Red Cross Fundraising efforts.
